Correctness and currency of data

The data published in the Health care providers application are obtained from official databases and are updated automatically upon changes in these official databases.

Health care providers are themselves responsible for providing their phone number and website information on the ZZZS's health care providers portal.

The activities displayed are based on the activities laid down in the contract between a provider and ZZZS.

Office hours are based on information provided by the health care providers to the ZZZS regional unit.

The name and address of the provider are obtained from the Slovenian Business Register.

In the event of errors in the published information, the health care providers should proceed as follows:

• if a wrong ZZZS number, activity or office hours are published, we ask the providers to inform the data administrators at the ZZZS regional unit (for contact details, see the table below);
• in case of a wrong name or address, the procedure is as follows:
  • public institutions and limited liability companies ("d.o.o.") are to contact one of the branches of the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Services ("AJPES") which are responsible for maintaining the Slovenian Business Register. There, they can change the their name and address details, which will then be automatically copied from the Slovenian Business Register into the ZZZS's records;
  • sole traders are to contact one of the branches of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, which are responsible for maintaining the register of sole traders.
